After obtaining both an undergraduate and master’s degree from Texas A&M, Nathan obtained his law degree from Southern Methodist University where he focused on contract and sports law while also serving on the executive board for the school’s Sports and Entertainment Law Association. After looking into the field and working alongside an accomplished NFL agent, Nathan felt called to create an agency that was not only focused on helping players on and off the field, but also in their spiritual lives. Nathan believes that each and every person has a unique value and calling by God and he sees his role as helping men accomplish the most they can on a field to empower them to use the gifts that God has given them. He strives to create a deep relationship with each of the players he represents and considers each client a personal friend. Nathan is married to his beautiful wife, Sarah, and currently lives in McKinney, TX.

 
 
 

wyatt mumfrey

Born and raised in New Orleans, Wyatt received his Bachelor's in Finance and Management and Master's in Accounting from Tulane University. After a brief stint in Finance, Wyatt attended Tulane Law School to study Sports Law where he served as a Senior Board Member of the Tulane Professional Football Negotiation Competition. Wyatt spent a year interning with the Indiana Pacers Legal Team learning valuable contract drafting and negotiation skills before transitioning to football.

Wyatt's faith is at the center of who he is. He is an active member of his church and serves as one of the young adult leaders. Wyatt and his lovely wife, Mary Callen, currently live in New Orleans.

 

Marcus maples

Marcus Maples is a NBA certified player representative with over a decade of experience in the sports industry. He has played, coached and worked in athletics on both the amateur and collegiate levels respectively. Marcus is well versed in NIL representation on the collegiate level as well as marketing on the professional level. He now brings his experience to Higher Calling Sports where he will provide world class service to professional athletes seeking employment in the NBA.

Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Marcus is married and has 4 wonderful children. He serves on the ministerial staff at his church and enjoys sharing Christ’s word with all who will receive it. Marcus earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Memphis School of Law and began his professional career in Real Estate. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.

 

Nick viola

Nick has a unique background as a former baseball player himself. After a successful collegiate career as a pitcher at Cal State Northridge, Nick then had an opportunity to play in the MLB for the Colorado Rockies, but injuries prevented him from playing professionally. Once he hung up his cleats, Nick obtained his Masters degree in sports law from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. While earning his degree, he worked full time at an agency where he gained knowledge and experience for over 8 years before joining Higher Calling.

Being a man of faith, Nick strides to lead athletes on their journey in baseball and help them get an opportunity to showcase the gifts God has given them. Nick currently resides in Texas with his wife and two dogs. He also enjoys giving baseball lessons to the youth in his community in his free time.

Cory played 6 seasons in the NFL as Offensive Lineman. During his career, he played for the Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, and Miami Dolphins. After seeing many players struggle during and after their playing careers due to financial hardship, Cory started his own company, Pro Capital Wealth Management, which serves as a vehicle to help others protect their families and build wealth. Cory is passionate about his faith as a Christian man and is very involved in both his church and non-profits. Cory is married to his wife Megan and they have two young children, a son, Hank, and a daughter, Grace.

After his college career as a linebacker at Texas A&M, Donnie played professionally in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, in the CFL with the Edmonton Eskimos, and in the AAF with the San Antonio Commanders. Donnie then decided he wanted to use his experience to help other athletes achieve their dreams. The founder of Higher Ceiling Performance, Donnie has helped numerous high school football players improve their game and find opportunities to play at the collegiate level. As a former client of Higher Calling, Donnie understands the vision of the agency and is able to help ensure that players are given the absolute best representation possible. Donnie lives in Houston with his wife, Fendi, and their two daughters, Addisyn and Ava.
